Characteristics
Hydrochloric acid is an aqueous solution of hydrogen chloride. Containing Hcl 31% or more. Concentrated hydrochloric acid smokes in the air, and vapor touching ammonia generates white smoke. Hydrochloric acid is mainly used in hydrometallurgy, water treatment in thermal power plants, production of precipitated calcium phosphate fertilizer, monosodium glutamate and synthesis of organic and inorganic chlorides. It is also used as raw material for the production of chlorides such as ammonium chloride, calcium chloride, zinc chloride, copper chloride, basic aluminum chloride and ferric chloride liquid. In industrial process, it is used for metal surface treatment (pickling and rust removal) fabric pickling after bleaching, mercerizing and neutralization, etc. In addition, the regeneration of ion exchange resin in water process is a best-selling product.
